Packing Made Easy: 👗📱
Photos and videos often feel like fun, in-the-moment captures—but sometimes their most helpful purpose is purely practical. One of my favorite ways to use my cell phone camera is snapping a quick mirror photo before I head out the door. It’s not about vanity at all—it’s simply a visual note to myself.
I am honestly not much of a shopper, so dressing myself (formally or informally) can be stressful. These photos help me remember what outfits I truly felt good in, how I styled them, and which shoes, jewelry, or accessories worked best ✨👠 - not to mention remembering what I own and what I wore to what event! Later, when I’m packing for a trip or getting ready for another event, I can scroll back and make confident choices without second-guessing. In addition, not to pull a Cher* but I don’t trust mirrors!
Think of it as a personal style reminder, not a selfie moment 💡—a simple, everyday tool that saves time, reduces stress, and makes packing (and getting dressed) a whole lot easier.

Remembering Where You Stayed: 🏨📸
When I arrive at a hotel, I like to take a quick photo of the front of the hotel, the lobby and the room right away—before my bags are open and everything gets “lived in.” It’s not for aesthetics, but as an easy way to remember what the space really looked and felt like.
Later, those photos help me recall whether I enjoyed the stay, how the room was laid out, and if it’s a place I’d choose again. Think of it as a visual travel note 🧳✨—a small habit that makes future trips easier and more intentional.
St. Moritz, Switzerland: On our way to hop aboard the Glacier Express to Zermatt, we spent one charming night in St. Moritz—and it was such a treat. Probably the most famous resort in the city is Badrutt’s Palace Hotel; however, since we were there for only about 16 hours and would not have time to enjoy the facilities, we focused more on affordability. Imagine our surprise as we entered The Reine Victoria. It is a very unique hotel that welcomed us with cozy character from the moment we arrived. From its inviting front entrance to a warm lobby and a room that felt perfectly tucked-in after a day of travel. Sometimes it’s the unexpected one-night stays that become the most memorable. 🚞🏔️
The Bedroom: Spaces rooms in Europe with ample closet space are not that common so we were delighted with the accommodations!
Usually, I’m all about quick snapshots of the hotel room —just enough to remember a place later 📸. But every once in a while, a hotel is so charming that I can’t help getting a little carried away ✨.
At this hotel, I found myself slowing down, looking up, and really soaking in the details—proof that sometimes a space is just as much part of the experience as the destination itself. 🤍
From the beautiful ceiling details to the glowing chandeliers and that stunning stairwell (captured with a vertical panoramic view!), this place was pure visual joy. Even though the virtual panoramic left me with a some areas in soft focus, the final effect allowed me to remember the unexpected architecture. 🏨💫.
